Not exactly. With Kernel 2.4(For which memory usage can not be fitted in a
pattern IMHO), and online video going on with broadcast2000, even thats pushed
to the limit of swap. Put a compile of, say Qt, in background, and machine will
really crowl to knees...
I agree that's a load of application too...;-) And I do it quite often. Only my
CPU is not very good. Only 450MHz. Watching it on neighbouring 866MHz machine is
a breeze...;-)
