I am not sure IE can work natively on linux without an emulator liek
wine or VMWare..it works with VMware on winnt machines(or so i have
seen), maybe after a lot of effort you would get it to work with wine.
Are you sure the people at teh cafe were talking of IE on Linux and
not HPUX?
