hi everybody I am new to this list and also I am new to linux. I want u people to help
me.
there are lot of queries in my mind
I am having a 3 systems one is loaded with linux and other two are with windows. linux
machine is connected with internet and it act as a proxy server to other two system. I
am using ipchains to establish proxy.
My problems are:
1. I am unable to use ftp from the client systems. I am able to do it in my linux
system.
2 how to monitor the two client machines like browising, downloads,etc. from my linux
system.
3. this is very basic one how to handle device in linux.
Example if i want to read a file or copy a file from a floppy disk or cd rom drive. In
windows It will be a: or D: how the external storage devices like hard disk , floppy
disk and cd-rom drive.
pls help me to clear my doubts.
Note: I joined this list last week for a I am reading all the querys and answers of
all the members of this list. U people are discussing about servers hosting, and
articles, projects etc. I am sorry to ask the above said silly questions . If I am
disturbing u all asking this type of silly questions, I am again beging ur pardon for
disturbing u people . If i am answered I am very thank ful to u people. Here after I
wont write this type of big story(borring) and all. This is my first question so that
i am introducing my self in this way.

I'll take your word for it - but my boss is happily surfing the 'net from
home on a win2k professional laptop (using a vsnl account fwiw)
