Hi all,
Am a newbie so please excuse my query if it sounds too simple. Today
I installed RHT 7.1 (Man this one is really great I must say) Now since RHT
7.1 comes with 2.4.2 kernel I want to install kernel 2.4.4. Since I have
just started to get feel of Linux ofcourse it would be too difficult for me.
Can anyone give me a step by step process of how to install the new kernel.
(i would like to remove the current 2.4.2 kernel).
I also went to kernel.org there I found patch 2.4.2, patch 2.4.4 what is
that??
Should I download these patch files of full kernel 2.4.4 tar file.
Please help me install my new kernel.
