 Well, you can compile from sources. I had a version of it running on RHL6.2.

Frankly no schematic capture and PCB design (GNU)tool on linux comes anywhere
near to Oracad, a version even from dos days. The integrity between schematic
caprute and PCB design is amazing with orcad.

I would rather prefer xfig to draw schematics. Oragano,YaEDA, GEDA are all
unfinished and moving very slowly.

And I have yet to find an application where I need circuit simulator if circuit
consists of bought out components. Of course, I haven't worked much on it, but
neat design and inspection of circuit is better alternative to circuit
simulators.

Of course, it's a preference. It's like saying static inspection of code
eliminates need of debugger, except for threaded apps and network programs...;-)
Take your pick...
