Hi

Get kdk from www.kdevelop.org. Make sure that you have every pre-requisite 
installed. 

Untar kdk. Just do './configure --prefix=/usr/local;make;make install' as 
root. 

Better get checkinstall from freshmeat. It converts the 'make install' stuff 
to rpms so that you can maintain it easily.

Latest stable kdevelop version is 1.4 and need KDE2. 

Better dump RHL6.2 get get something new like Mandrake8/RHL7.1, unless you 
are ready for heavy patching, as I have done....;-)
