I think he is looking for a client and not a server... do u want to upload
data ? or do you want to download it ?
There are some tools for uploading stuff on regular intervals.. (ftpupper
or something like that)
but if you want to download then u can use wget or curl
and by secure do you mean SSL ? (there's a version of curl that does SSL)
