Dear Arun,
I also faced the same problem, then the logs in
/var/log/qmail../current or last log file helps and tells the problem
.it depends where are qmail logs system to system.
Check out for the pop3d logs
tail -f /var/log/qmail/qmail-pop3d/current etc
have u installed qmail by rpm ? or tgz
