Hi all,
As I boot into my RH 7 system, my modem (internal)
starts dialling some number automatically.
If I try to use to use minicom, wvdial, kppp etc. I
get the mesg that "modem is busy" "/dev/ttyS2 is
locked".
So, I tried deleting the LCK..modem file in /var/lock.
This too, doesnt work...
What could be the problem?
Options that I pass to pppd are lock, defaultroute.
My only option right now to work is to physically
remove the phone line :(
