 There _is_ a precooked package you can try - Godot's gShield, available at
 linuxmafia.org (the slakware packages site).

 Nick Hill, /me and Raghu locked down a h4x0r3d server at the Hyd'bad Central
 University a couple of weeks ago using it's ipchains variant (it has an
 iptables variant as well).
