Nothing RH specific here...Please check your latest slackware
distro...
My slackware CD (3.6,4.0,7.0,7.1...) has netconfig as the network config
tool..
This gets called by /sbin/setup whenever you want to configure the
network... or you can just call it by itself if you only want to change
the network settings...
It's dialog based shell script... Haven't used RH so don't know about the
namesake...
