Hello,
I just finished installing RH6.2 on PIII 500, 64MB, i810 machine. I managed
to install the alsa sound drivers and XFCom-i810 X server. The sound's fine
but the X Server takes minutes together to load. I switched on the machine 18
minutes back and the X server has still has not finished loading! I'm using
kde2. Even after loading, I notice that the HDD is thrashing and the system
is sluggish. Any idea? What should I do?
