Comparing them for _what_ purpose exactly? They both make excellent
workstations, but (imho at least) suck as servers. Redhat 7.1 sucks less as
a server though, I have been told.
As for distro comparison, read back through the list archives (or just search
for distro and compare on google). You'll find a lot of info - not all of it
balanced, though :)
