I want to resize my root partition to a smaller size. Before that, I
want some doubts to be clarified. I understand that I need to
get the parted image file, rawrite it to floppy and boot it.
I have a doc specifying that I have to defragment before resizing.
(it's windoze based doc). Well, how do I do it with linux? Should I
defragment? If so, how, under LInux? Also, I want the exact cmds for
writing to floppy. Anybody tried it? Kindly help me.
(The last thing I want would be a damaged root partition).
