i have slackware 7.1.0 with kernek 2.4.1 whenever i try to connect to
internet and use the kde dialer it gives me an error that "access to kppp is
not allowed. make sure its owned by root and have a suid set."
now when i try to coonect to internet while logged in as root , as soon as
the dialer gets connected i get an error that " pppd unexpectedly died in
exit status -1".
how do io fix the above two problems.? i am using a 56700bps modem
