we just got a 1U rack server of Intel SRMK2 ...
specs
dual 733 Mhs Intel PIII
SCSI Raid controller .. Intel SRCU31L
2 IBM SCSI HDD 18 GB - hot swappable
512 MB RAM Hyundai
2 integrated nic.
integhrated SCSI controller
some Low Profile slot ;)
slim line floppy drive
all for around 160000.
trying to install .. RH 6.2 / 7.0 / suse 7.2 by creating raid1 volume ..
still not being able to crack it. Tommorwo getting the 7.1 cd .. i think
with 2.4 kernel should do the job.
Anyone worked with generator on Linux .. need some help on that. Any
pointers to enabling raid volumes on rH 6.2 or 7.0. It says to enable the
raid volume be4 installing the OS .. .. stuck at a roadblock... hope to
clear it tomm. :)
