there's another thin that i forgot to mention.............it's that
as Kmail is written in QT like the rest of the KDE apps............so
when ever u hav a bad connection os somethin really goofs
up.......Kmail tends to freeze on u. But most of the time after the
stipulated timeout period for contact elapses, Kmail terminates the
connection.
