Assuming you are doing a bulk mailing with a fast connection to the net
you need to worry more about how long it will take for the remote
servers to accept your emails than the other way round. Even though the
spread is normal it is actually spread out over 8-10 domains and some of
them unfortunately can keep you hanging around for quite sometime. You
could forsee your mail queue going for a toss in that period. Remember
your MTA will not send out all 10000 emails at one go instead it will
attempt in chunks of maybe 200 emails at a time.
