What version of kmail is this? And is the subject visible if you view the
mail with full headers or save it as a plain text file?
I haven't run across any version of kmail that suppresses the subject field
randomly, yet. Of course, there are several people who post to the list
without specifying a subject ...
Or do you mean the [LIH] and [LIG] tokens in the subject field?
