hat driver are u using ? xv, sdl ??
Do u have XFree 4 on your machine ? Then u can easily use xv to get the
best results. Else u can compile mplayer with sdl driver. For that u will
need sdl-devel and sdl 1.2 version. Both are small files and u can download
them easily from
http://www.libsdl.org/
sdl will also give u full screen.
If u are using xv than run mplayer as
mplayer -vo xv -fs -vcd 1
or
mplayer -vo xv -fs <mpeg filename>
In case of sdl replace -vo xv with -vo sdl.
