Apologies for re-posting the same query. Since I recompiled the kernel
(2.4.1), NFS doesn't function, as you see from the following boot.log clip.
Telnet or smb-connect to this machine doesn't work, though its able to telnet
or connect to others.
Jul 2 14:58:53 Tanya rpc.lockd: lockdsvc: Invalid argument
Jul 2 14:58:56 Tanya crond: crond startup succeeded
Jul 2 14:58:53 Tanya nfslock: rpc.lockd startup failed
Jul 2 14:58:53 Tanya nfslock: rpc.statd startup succeeded
Where have I gone wrong?
