Dear List Members,
we are looking for a seasoned SysAdmin (2 years of relevant experience) to
maintain and enhance your production and development systems.
Systems deployed at the moment include:
- Redhat 6.2 and up
- SuSe 6 and up
- Freebsd 4
Your ability should include:
- installation, configuration and maintenance of Apache, BIND, qmail,
various ftpd's, traffic analysis packages, nfs and other packages as required
(when i am talking about "installation" i am not talking about "out of the
box"installations, this will rarely do the job)
- familiarity with kernel options, compilation of custom kernels
- good knowledge of threads, system libraries
- a moderate knowledge of Perl will be definitely helpful
- same for gdb
Location is Pune, the working atmosphere is focused but relaxed.
Since most of our assignments come from Europe we have to deliver our
services timely and there is no scope for experimenting on the clients'
systems.
Remuneration: negotiable
