I could configure my modem using minicom as well as wvdial as well as in
kppp.
This mail I am wtitting using Kppp connection method and then using Netscape
Navigator to surf the internet.
Once again thanks a lot and let me get set for next questions on Linux.

Was the modem turned on at that time? You have to keep it turned on when
you run wvdialconf.
