I've finally gotten around to moving over to reiserfs ...
I converted one partition to reiserfs (ran mkreiserfs without any extra
options)
and mounted it...
[kingsly@utopia kingsly]$ df /dev/hda6
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda6 2097544 32840 2064704 2% /mp3z
[kingsly@utopia kingsly]$
is this normal ?? 2% of the space is already in use! and there are no
files in the partition
reformatted back to ext2 and found this...
/dev/hda6 2064144 20 1959244 0% /mp3z
Am I doing something wrong or is that how reiserfs works ?
