Our condolences .... If you are happy with console mode, just
install "zipslack" from Slackware Ver 8.0 or 7.1 on the
windoze patrition itself and boot through loadlin as a umsdos
partition ... need only about 70 mb of HD space. Net
connection dilemma would still remain though.
lin4win and vmware are bloated alternatives you may like to
consider.
