Dangerous question!

I most ppl would agree that a 'Unix' is an OS that contains licenced code from
AT&T (or whoever it is that owns the AT&T codebase). By that yardstick, most
commercial Unices like Solaris, HP-UX, SCO and AIX would be Unix whereas *BSD
and Linux would be Unix clones.

Of course, everybody on this list would probably have a different definition of
Unix.
