Good Linux to e'body,
Generally the automatically assigned IP addr to VSNL
customer i.e. us are always changing. The login screen
displays this changed IP addr all the while after the
connection btwn a dialup PC and VSNL is established.
But from last month or so, I am observing that I am getting
the fixed IP addr ( the same xxx.xxx.xxx.xx no. ) dispalyed
after the connection is established.
I checked with local VSNL authority but they are completely
ignorant abt it .
Is it a conincidence for a continous one month stretch, or
VSNL has changed it's system setup ? Or my system is
compromised ?
