hi,
I had installed PCQUEST LINUX 7.1 on 2 of my compaq V55
machines(one with intel mother board the other one with FIC
board).I had allocated 126MB for swap partition and 2.6 GB for
other partion( / ).The installation was successfull and I worked
on both of them for some time . But after some time when I try to
logon to the machine both machines showed hung-up condition.
After entering the login name and password the system got hung
up. In the boot message everything was OK except with the
following line
" Activating swap: swap on: /SWAP has insecure permission
0755 ; 066 suggested "
Pleaz let me know your analysis of the problem as early as
possible.
