Please help me out in solving the following problem.

When I boot my home PC with Linux (PCQ Linux - Red hat Linux 7.1 from
the Jul 2001 PCQ issue), I get the following message:
(I have loaded Linux on top of Window ME, without creating partitions)

Activating swap partitions: swap on: error /initrd/loopfs/rh-swap.img
has insure permissions 0755, 0600 suggested FAILED

I am able to login after that, but I was trying to get rid of this
message by changing the file permissions for the above file, by using
chmod. It changes the file permissions to -rwxr-xr-x only, on the
command chmod 600 <filename>.

I am continuing to get the same message. This happens even after I
changed the file properties in windows to turn off read-only, hidden,
archive properties (all these properties were turned on previously).

Please tell me what could be done to solve this?

Renjith
