Mantra/Modi Network. They claim that they have a radio link and do not use VSNL 
at all. For first two weeks connectivity was pathetic but later they switched 
their radio link provider and now it's much better.

Yes. It includes mails. I said web space to compensate slightly higher charge 
for your connection. If you are getting this for a company you may prefer to pay 
some more get the bandwidth tuned to 128kbps max.

It's upto your ISP. For some reasons if they are going for PPPoE, then you will 
have to dial and wvdial should work though I am not sure.

I like my ISP's approach. It's like a big lan.

May be you have to set a proxy if they are doind NAT. I don't have to. For 
Mantra they are allocating from a 203. address pool. Otherwise it's seemless.

Ports for freebsd and apt-get for debian. They can be automatically upgraded 
including all dependencies and have central servers to do that. So if bandwidth 
is not your worry then you can nighly upgrade your system. But then your system 
won't have a tag like RHL7.1.
