Hi - just do a lsmod to see if rtl8139 or via-rhine (depending on which lousy
variant of d-link you have - they both suck) is loaded, if not depmod -a,
insmod the appropriate driver. [it should have been detected and configured
out of the box I guess]
Then ifconfig is always there to set the IP ... poke around /etc for what you
can edit manually, or search for the appropriate config tool (debian has
plenty of them) to do it.
