Sendmail does only one job, mail transportation ... It merely sends your mail from your box across the network (inclusive of internet). It does not do what a mail distribution agent like Procmail does (except for local mail). Your mail from POP, IMAP or ETRN servers are brought to your box using fetchmail, and neither sendmail or procmail. > what about 'Procmail'?
