There may not be any link. Some time ago, I got message "hdx: command
error: status=0x51{driveReady SeekComplete error} .. , and some list
member suggested to disable dma using hdparm. I thought, application may
not be able to read default icons due to such error, so just as a factor
of safety or as precautionary measure ( or you can say hit & trial to make
system to work ), I checked with both dma enabled and disabled.
Any other hint to restore icons.
