If u have used the same port as specified in wwwoffle.conf file and if
wwwoffle server is starting on startup than it should work.

No wwwoffle and pdnsd are not the same. pdnsd is a dns caching server.
After browsing using wwwoffle just type nslookup and than give
www.rediff.com. Will u get its ip, no. It will try to go to the name
server. Try this after u use pdnsd and check for yourself :-)
