Bah.  Might be a good idea to switch to freebsd instead.  Not seen kernel
bugs in that for a while (OK, there was a telnetd exploit but still ...)

2.4.x is still "work in progress" as far as I can see, so 2.2.19 with a patch
which Linus has ratified would be the best way to go.

Hurried upgrades being applied to production servers is not fun at all. :(
