Install the sendmail-doc rpm from your CD and take a look at the contents (in
/usr/share/doc). There's incredibly detailed information there.
If you install the sendmail-cf package (which you must, in order to configure
things using m4) there's cf/README (in deadrat that becomes
/usr/share/sendmail-cf/README). That's an explanation of just about every
option in sendmail.mc
