Is there a way to have timestamp resolution to less than one second Suppose I have a script that performs two operations on a file ... and both the operations occur within one second ... now when I see the timetamp on the file after each operation .. it shows the same time in both cases.
On the other hand in AiX the timestamp gets incremented by one second for the second operation .... What I want to know is that can we have more precise timestamps on Linux ... if not ... then is this behaviour by design or is there a workaround. ashwani _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
