OK You are lucky. I mean I can tell you how to burn it but let's not get into that.

Ranting an old story...

Usually at a particular temparature fan will regulate the CPU temp. For my 
current P-III, it happnes around 42 deg. When I used AMD, I tried that board 
with a celeron at vendors place, it was regulating at around 50 deg. which is 
quite OK.

But with AMD CPU it was regulating at 75 deg. Which is plane unacceptable. I 
could watch temp. going from 35 deg. to 75 deg. on BIOS screen without doing 
anything.

And I compiled Qt/KDE on it several times. And so some kernels. Poor soul gave 
up one day...;-)
