Guys i tried to do a 'chmod 000 myfile' which removes all permissions, but i want to hide the files such that it doesn't show it's a dot file at the same time NOT be listed when i do a 'ls -al' and not even root can see the file when he does an ls-al, any guesses on doin that ?? pls let me know..
