[LIH] A question on MX record and BIND

Hai,

While specifying a MX record is it necessary that we have to specify a FQDN
only or is it OK if we specify an ipaddress.

i.e. which is more correct
            IN        MX   10 mail.test.com.
                      (or)
             IN         MX        10   212.9.8.21
