I have a little knowledge on NT...

I used to modify c:\boot.txt file and enable the console messages to be
displayed on a serial terminal connected to the system (via serial
cable)...for this you should have a windebugger installed on the serial
terminal...this I used to test n/w device driver...on Win XP.

donno about any other way of displaying boot up messages...
