& then a

 >smbpasswd USERNAME

from your /etc/samba/ dir...?

Subject: [LIH] samba help

I am also getting problem in samba installation.
I have installed pcqlinux 7.1 and installed samba as described in
PCQ.

When I want to access through Windows (client) Network
Neighbourhood, it shows Linux Server but i could not able to
access, as following error appears:

\\Linux Server is not accessible
The computer or sharename could not be found, make sure you
typed is correctly, and try again.

I just want to access the folder at Linux Server without any
password.

It seems that there is some other problem then Samba.

Can anybody help me .........

Regards

Arun
