You also need to set a relevant *Subject* field while posting the message.

You machine is working perfectly okay.

virtualhosting is only for apache not for ping !! :o)

When you ping a machine the hostname you see is found by doing a reverse
DNS lookup... and the reverse DNS for an IP can only resolve to one
hostname.

so even if you add a 100 virtualhosts.. the output of ping will only come
from with the actual hostname.
