Dear friends I installed Redhat 6.2 I connected it to the network every thing went off fine but suddenly while booting i found that nfs and nfs lock failed while booting and it showd lockdsvc input/output error.
after that i removed nfs and nfslock from /etc/rc.d/init.d Now it boots fine but i am not able to get my lo interface activated . it just does not gat activated .? where did i go wrong ? how could i have corrected the nfs lock fault corrected without removing from the startup ? This is a test setup so i took the liberty to delete add etc .How can i solve such problem. how do i get my lo interface activated without reinstalling linux .
