hi all, I have a problem when finding hard disk serial no. When i use the command ide_info to get the serial no of the hard disk I am getting a value like this. SERIAL_NO="673825838122"
But if I use hdparm -I, I am getting the value like this. SerialNo=768352381822 I do not know which is the correct value but from the above we could infer that each pairs of digits are interchanged.
