Hi list, recently I had put msg for a help regarding the squid configuration error and except one , i didnt got any answers , I think no body had come across that problem. Recently I got the answer for my question that the stable version of Squid make use of internal DNS processing and they dont require a external dns specification. So the option 'dns_children 5' gives a parse error in startup
parseConfigFile: line 569 unrecognized: 'dns_children 5' So you dont have to enable both the options of DNS processing.Just comment them out.
