There is always a lag on sf.. .. and when you talk for extended durations.. the lag keeps increasing... the fix is to stop and start the mic alone on both sides. that'll bring the lag back to manageable levels. |- My bro's computer wasn't able to handle full duplex very well when |both of us were speaking simultaneously. I think it has something to with mixer settings... where he's able to hear what he speaks too... he'll need to mute the mic in the playback mixer (the recording mixer will need to have the mic enabled) and if the other person uses mic and speakers as opposed to headsets there is an echo where you'll hear yourself after a short delay.(time to the other machine and back!) There's this other software called freewebphone... which has support for video too ... doesn't seem to be very stable... I have been unable to send(or receive) a clear picture to/from the other side... And speakfreely comes with a licq utility so you can launch a session with ICQ contacts without having to type the person IP etc. Kingsly _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
