No magic here. These are all documented. The one you are talk-
ing about is in the kernel docs. Pl see LOST below.

Magic ones NO ... documented ones YES ! If you go through the
kernel docs and X11 docs, you will find them ... Example:

o Autocompletion - pressing [Tab] after typing in a partially
  completed filename or command.
  
o Ctrl-Alt-Plus (and Minus), to rotate screen  resolutions in
  X. May not work with some keyboards. The Plus and Minus are
  the large grey keys on the numeric pad.
  
o Alt-F1 thru Fn to swap consoles. If in X then Ctrl-Alt-Fn.
