I hve pcqlinux 7.1 w/ a duron 850 w/ 128 ram and this machine is working like
it's stuck in quicksand!!

I am getting the following three lines in /var/log/messages:
-------------------------------
Nov 21 19:06:17 farzaan kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Nov 21 19:06:17 farzaan kernel: 0b:00: rw=0, want=34, limit=2
Nov 21 19:06:17 farzaan kernel: isofs_read_super: bread failed, dev=0b:00,
iso_blknum=16, block=16
-------------------------------------------------

they are being repeated hundreds of times.

what could the problem be ?

ps -ax gives the following line:

6238 ? R 0:00 /usr/bin/kfmclient configureDesktop

there are ~ 80 - 100 lines like this one. The Pid starts at 5297 and goes
upto 6238 ofcourse skipping a few nos in between.

I have got the following apps running:

mutt, terminals (four), abiword & gkrellm.

top shows this.

  7:08pm up 2:06, 6 users, load average: 5.47, 5.46, 4.98
181 processes: 171 sleeping, 8 running, 2 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 92.0% user, 7.9% system, 0.0% nice, 0.0% idle
