Hello

I am using Postfix in my company for my mail server as in our company we
need a backup of all the incoming and outgoing mails for security reasons. I
read in the doecumentation that if always_bcc = [EMAIL PROTECTED] is added in
the main.cf all the mails coming to the server, a bcc will be sent to the
user id postman (assuming my domain is abc.com) .

But inspite of adding it not a single copy of the mails sent to the mail
server is sent to the id postman please help me as to how to go about this.

Also a very important thing, in our company we do not use DNS internally and
the internet is not up always so in the file I also specified,
disable_dns_lookups = yes in the main.cf file, the clients when trying to
access never look upon DNS entries, but still when not connected to the net
the client takes a very long time to contact the mail server (upto 2 mins)
can you suggest me a method of overcoming this.

We use linux 7.0 and Postfix for the mail server and all the mail clients
are Windows NT m/c using Outlook express.

Hope to hear from you soon

Regards
Manjunath.H.N.
